This Privacy Policy explains how Devini (“Devini”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you visit devini.io and sign in to the Devini Vault. By using our services, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information We Collect
We collect only what we need to give you secure access to the Vault:
- Google account information. When you choose “Sign in with Google”, Google shares your name, email address, and profile picture with us. We use this to create and identify your account.
- Content you provide. Any information or files you submit inside the Vault.
- Usage and device data. Basic technical logs such as IP address, browser type, and timestamps, kept for security and reliability.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Authenticate you and provide access to the Vault.
- Operate, maintain, secure, and improve our services.
- Communicate with you about your account or support requests.
- Comply with legal obligations and prevent abuse.
3. Google User Data & Limited Use
Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We only use Google account data to authenticate you and provide the features you request. We do not sell this data, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties except as described in this policy.
4. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that help us run Devini — for example Google (authentication) and Supabase (database and hosting) — and only to the extent needed to operate the service. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect our rights and users.
5. Data Retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service and meet our legal obligations. When you ask us to delete your account, we remove your personal data except where retention is required by law.
6. Security
We protect your data with industry-standard measures, including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to safeguard your information and limit access to it.
7. Your Rights & Choices
- Access or correct your data by contacting us.
- Revoke Google access at any time from your Google Account permissions.
- Delete your account and associated data by emailing us at [email protected].
8. Cookies & Sessions
We use essential cookies and session tokens to keep you signed in and to keep the Vault secure. These are required for the service to function; we do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
9. Children’s Privacy
Devini is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us so we can remove it.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be communicated where appropriate.
11. Contact Us
